How do you think what would be new name of upcoming Canon DSLR camera?

Google gives following results:

  • “EOS 3D” - 378000 pages
  • “EOS 5D Mark II” – 71700 pages
  • “EOS 7D” – 37400 pages
  • “EOS 6D” – 7150 pages

So it looks lite that most Internet thinks it will be calls Canon EOS 3D… And the second place goes to Canon EOS 5D Mark II

I like second variant. I don’t believe Canon will call it EOS 3D… This is absolutely different market.

Canon has added a mysterious teaser to its US website.

The page shows a silhouette of a camera with the words ‘Destined Evolution.’ It looks like it will be updated to include more detail in the future…

It’s almost as if the company is building up to the launch of a camera to replace one of its older models. I have no specific information, but everyone predicts an EOS 5D replacement is coming…
