Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO

Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO (Model B003) is the first digital SLR lens in the world that delivers zoom ratio of 15X (28-419mm equivalent) and is equipped with a highly effective Vibration Compensation (VC) mechanism.

Designed exclusively for digital SLR cameras with APS-C sized image sensors, the new lens delivers outstanding image quality over its entire zoom range and its exclusive VC anti-shake system facilitates sharp handheld photography even at the longest telephoto settings.

With its vast zoom-range, the Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC lens enables the user to cover virtually any photographic subject from wide angle to ultra telephoto simply by turning the zoom control. It covers angles of view equivalent to 28mm to 419mm when converted to the 35mm format. In addition, this breakthrough lens is equipped with Tamron’s exclusive, proprietary tri-axial Vibration Compensation (VC) mechanism that substantially reduces the effects of handheld camera shake. As a result, the user can enjoy the convenience of handheld photography in virtually any situation, from shooting candid images, to covering sporting events, to news photography, without worrying about camera shake having an adverse effect on image quality.

The innovative, high-performance ultra wide-angle zoom lens (model B001) is designed exclusively for Canon and Nikon digital SLRs with APS-C sized image sensors. The SP AF10-24mm Di II, the first-ever ultra wide-angle lens for digital SLR cameras, features a focal length range with the 35mm equivalent of 16mm ultra wide-angle to 37mm semi-wide-angle in a user-friendly lightweight, compact design. With this versatile ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, photographers can capture magnificent vistas and extraordinary close-ups, bold compositions and unique perspectives, creating imagery impossible with standard wide-angle lenses.

Tamron SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD [IF] MACRO

Tamron SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD [IF] MACRO (Model A001) is a lightweight and fast F/2.8 tele-zoom lens designed for full-size SLR cameras. Tamron is pleased to announce the availability of the zoom lens in mounts for Pentax and Sony SLR cameras.

The SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD [IF] MACRO (Model A001) was developed under the same concept as the SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di (Model A09)-a lens highly evaluated by many users around the world as a compact and fast zoom lens boasting a high cost/performance ratio. The SP AF70-200mm is a fast F/2.8 zoom lens that is compatible with full-size DSLRs and 35mm Film SLR cameras.

While preventing the lens from becoming bulky, Tamron successfully realized the minimum focus distance of 0.95m over the entire zoom range for a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.1 at 200mm-best in its class on both counts. Combined with the advantage of an internal focusing system, this lens enables the user to enjoy stress-free close-up photography.

The SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 zoom lens covers a focal length range from 70mm medium telephoto to 200mm real telephoto when mounted on a full frame DSLR or 35mm film SLR camera while covering a 35mm-equivalent focal length range from 109mm to 310mm ultra telephoto* (diagonal angle of view of 7‹59′) when used with a digital SLR camera equipped with an APS-C sized image sensor.

Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 with Built-in AF Motor for Nikon

Tamron Co., Ltd (Mr. Morio Ono, President) has successfully renewed the existing SP AF90mm F/2.8 for Nikon and is now pleased to announce the availability of the lens with a built-in AF motor for Nikon. (The lens is already available in mounts for Canon, Pentax and Sony.

Tamron’s SP 90mm lens has been highly evaluated by photographers all over the world not only as a high-performance macro lens but also as a medium telephoto lens suitable for all photographic applications including landscape and portraiture. The SP 90mm F/2.8 macro lens, first introduced in 1979, underwent a major model change in 2004 to feature a Digitally Integrated (Di) design while retaining its renowned optical performance.
